I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hidden gem of a hotel located below an old mill and next to a picturesque river. Despite its secluded location, it was only a short 15-minute walk into the town center. the room, though small, was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful night's sleep. the highlight of my stay was the exceptional service from the welcoming and friendly staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. the pub on the premises offered a fantastic selection of cask ales and a delicious food menu, which I regret not trying due to exhaustion upon arrival. the free parking and Wi-Fi were convenient amenities, and the large, freshly cooked full English breakfast was a delightful treat in the morning. Overall, my experience at this hotel far exceeded my expectations, and I cannot wait to return for a longer stay to fully appreciate all it has to offer.
